In the municipality of Sittard-Geleen, in the region of Limburg, SHARE partner the Dutch Refugee Council (VluchtelingenWerk Limburg), the local authority and local people acting as volunteers work in partnership to receive resettled refugees.  Watch the short film below to hear from a family resettled to Sittard-Geleen about their experiences both before and after arriving into The Netherlands, the volunteer helping to guide them in their new surroundings, those working on the programme on behalf of Dutch Refugee Council and the city authorities, and an elected city representative on why Sittard-Geleen chooses to receive resettled refugees.
