Since early 2014, ICMC has been working with partners and stakeholders of the SHARE Network to develop 'SHARE Voices from The City', a series of film and audio resources highlighting the refugee resettlement at the regional and local level across Europe.
Actors in many SHARE cities and towns are actively engaged in advocacy and campaigning for refugee resettlement, using their own experiences to promote, celebrate and highlight the many benefits of receiving resettled refugees. In addition to case study interviews with previously resettled refugees and those working with them, the 'SHARE Voices from The City' series also aims capture regional and local events, celebrations and initiatives about refugee resettlement taking place at the local level in Europe. Follow the links below to access the short films produced to date.
'SHARE Voices from The City' resources are available for use at meetings, conferences, public events and advocacy activities. To discuss further, please contact Marika Carlucci (Junior Project Officer at ICMC Europe) at carlucci@icmc.net.
